Comfort Colors G1717 vs. Gildan 5000 Shrinkage & Texture Test
“Comfort Colors feels like a shirt you've owned for 5 years from the very first day. The ring-spun cotton fibers are combed to absolute perfection.”

Real feedback from buyers who wear Comfort Colors tees daily in the United States.
The holy grail of boxy tees
If you want that perfect thick vintage look, this is it. It doesn't cling to your chest or stomach, it just falls straight down. I've washed mine 20 times and the light green pigment looks even better now.
Better than $60 boutique shirts
I used to buy expensive streetwear blanks for $50+. The Comfort Colors G1717 has the exact same thickness, boxy shoulders, and soft neck tape. Absolute steal for the price.
Perfect relaxed loungewear
Bought the light green in Large. It is oversized but in a comfortable way. The ring-spun cotton feels so soft against the skin, unlike scratchy generic cotton tees.
No collar warping
My biggest issue with heavy shirts is the bacon neck after washing. Comfort Colors tapes the neck and shoulder seams so the crew neck stays flat. Excellent construction.
Slight dye bleed initially, but worth it
Wash it alone or with similar darks the first time! It bleeds a little dye because of the pigment wash. Once that's done, it is the softest shirt you'll ever own.
Multipack is the way to go
Amazon has the G1717 multipack options which save you a ton of cash. Standard G1717 colors are incredible, Bay green and Hemp are my favorites.
